Farah Hussain Baig is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of mental health and has been in private practice since 2007. In her clinical practice, she enjoys working with individuals and couples to find a deeper understanding of themselves, communicate more effectively, as well as help clients find practical ways to manage life stressors. Farah’s clinical experience includes areas of community mental health, residential treatment, employee assistance, as well as, conducting research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University. She is proficient in facilitating psycho-educational workshops and providing clinical consultations and has provided these services throughout the state of Illinois. Farah is trained in a number of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is Certified in EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
