Convergent Boundaries
Convergent boundaries happen when two plates move and collide into each other. These boundaries can be found on the West Coast of South America. These boundaries can create earthquakes and composite volcanoes.
Divergent Boundaries
Divergent boundaries occur when two or more tectonic plates get away from each other. A real world example of convergent boundary would be Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It divides Iceland and is between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Divergent boundaries cause mid-ocean ridges, deep ocean trenches, destroys sea floor, and volcanoes.
Transform Boundaries
Transform boundaries happen when two or more tectonic plates move against each other. Real life examples of it would be the Western side of California. It causes earthquakes and creates ocean floor.
