A robot is a machine programmed by a computer.

Robots may be constructed by humans. There are semi autonomus robots and autonomus robots.

Robots will replace humans by doing dangerous tasks which humans prefer not to do .

In Renaissance Italy, Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) sketched plans for a humanoid robot around 1495. Da Vinci’s notebooks, rediscovered in the 1950s, Now known as Leonardos robot.
