Hello! I am Scott, one of the many water molecules here on Earth. Today, I will be telling you about some of my recent travels.
Originally, I was just an ordinary water molecule in the middle of the Indian Ocean. I was a very content, happy molecule. I loved being liquid. But naturally, thanks to all the heat energy and sunlight there, I quickly evaporated and gently floated up to the clouds. I, however, am terrified of heights. I wish I just stayed in the ocean, but Earth had different ideas for me…

Luckily, my life in the clouds was short-lived. I glided gently over the land, and, somewhere near Nepal, I condensed and fell as precipitation gently to a nice, soft glacier.

Sadly, however, the glacier wasn’t nearly as happy to see me as I was to see it. It immediately released me as run off onto the dirt. I learned in school that dirt filters through poor little molecules like me whenever it can. As gravity shoved me into the soil to become groundwater, I gave up and stopped fighting. After all, I would escape at some point….

A plant almost immediately saw the soil trying to kill me, so it sucked me up and put me through various tubes in itself. It wasn’t pleasant, but at least the plant was kind enough to save me. He was done very soon and I left via transpiration. As I stated earlier, I am terrified of heights, so it wasn’t very pleasant, but I was quickly released into a lake.

The lake was nice enough, but it obviously didn’t like me for some reason. He quickly sent me into the flow of a river to be whisked away to my home, the Indian Ocean.

Well, I’m running out of micro-paper, and nothing interesting has happened recently, so I’m finishing this book. I hope it was intriguing, but I’m sorry if the pages are a little wet. Thank you for reading!

The End
(I’m still thinking about making another journal, for all you molecule fans)
