One day Dorigen went to a picnic with her friends meeting Aurelio who had been in love with her for two years; but once revealed his love she tells him that he would love him only if he had removed all the stones of the coast.

Aurelio, given the disappointment of love, falls ill, but his brother helps him and tells him he knows a magician who could have helped him ;so Aurelio went in search of the magician

Found the magician, he agrees to help him but as Arverago returns, who discovered Dorigen’s fate relies on the goodness of Aurelio who renounces Dorigen for the nobility of the deeds of Arverago
