BALLOONS!

The first balloons were small flying lanterns which were used during festivals and as ways of communications between armies.

The first toy balloons were reported as early as the 14th century.  At that time they were made using the inflated bladder of a pig!

The first unmanned flight that carried living creatures happened on September 19, 1783.  Its passengers were a sheep, a duck, and a rooster.

Hot air balloons are the oldest flying machine and the first machine that helped man to fly.

Gas filled balloons are balloons filled with gas that is lighter than air and can fly.
