Amish pepole

The Amish people are people that don’t use electrical appliances.

They live mainly in Ohio, Canada, Indiana.

Their origin is from Europe.

Their lifestyle is very simple, they believe that they need to spend a lot of time with their familes, and with their community.

The children of the Amish people study eight years, after these years they go to work on their parent’s farms,

there they learn cooking, farming and carpentry.

The tyipcal clothes of the Amish people are very simple, the women wear a long dress with long sleeves, aprons and bonnets.

The men wear dark trousers with suspenders.

They wear solid colored shirts.

The Amish people get around with the help of horses, buggies.

They don’t use cars, because they don’t use modern technology.

The Amish belong to the Christian religion. They have Amish customs that they follow.

In ther free time the Amish people are among their family and they visit their friends. sometimes they go to museums.

The language of the Amish people is very special. It is like German and it is called Pennsylvania Dutch.
