Hello, we are going to tell you something about our best day of our week in Vienna!
In the morning we had breakfast and afterwards we went to the Imperial Crypt, which was a bit scary but also very interesting.
After we had eaten lunch we went to the Vienna Museum of Science and Technology. There we did a puzzle hunt, which was great fun but also a bit difficult.
In the evening we had dinner and then we went to watch the musical “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” in the Ronacher.
After the musical we talked to Felix and he told us that the liked the muscial.
We really enjoyed the Vienna week and we hope we will be able to visit the capital city of Austria again.
My trip to the capital city of Austria

Greetings, this blog entry is about my favourite day of the Vienna week.
(Tuesday)
We woke up at 7.45 o’clock and left the hostel at 9.15.
The first sight today was the Imperial Crypt. After the tour guide had arrived, we went down to the basement where the coffins are stored. Did you know that Maria Theresia’s and Sissi’s coffins are down here. Well, more than 100 Habsburgs have their final resting place there. Some of the coffins even weigh up to 10 tons.
After we had had lunch, we went to the Vienna Museum of Science and Technology. There we received a quiz from our teacher. We had to go to various places inside the building to finish the quiz.
In the evening we went to the Ronacher to watch the musical “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. It lasted for three hours but it was amazing and breathtaking.

Today we got up early and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We left the hostel at half past eight and arrived at the Vienna State Opera at nine o’clock. The guided tour was very interesting, we even went to the loges.
Did you know that each seat has a little screen where you can see the text in eight different languages?
After we had finished our guided tour, we visited Schönbrunn Palace. Before the tour started, we had got headphones, so we could understand well what the tour guide was saying. He told us many interesting facts about the palace and we saw a lot of beautiful rooms.
In the evening we went to a cinema. After we had bought our tickets and some food, the film started. We watched ‘’ Puss in boots’’. We enjoyed the movie and the food.
I really liked our third day in Vienna. Tomorrow we are going to visit the ORF and the Museum of Natural History.
A fantastic day in Vienna

Hello, we are going to tell you something about a really great day of the Vienna week!
Thursday:
Today we went to the Natural History Museum by underground. At first we went on a guided tour which was really interesting. Afterwards we were allowed to explore the museum on our own or in small groups. Did you know that there are more than 20 million objects in the old museum?
After lunch we had a backstage tour at the ORF. Before we started the tour, the guide had told us that we weren’t allowed to touch the cameras. In our opinion the backstage tour was really impressive and we even saw the newsroom. Did you know that one camera costs about 140.000€?
In the evening we played a quiz which was really funny.
We really liked the day because we laughed a lot and it was also very interesting.
Finally, one tip: Book the guided tour in advance.
Now we are going to bed because tomorrow we are going to visit Vienna City Hall and Time Travel Vienna!

Today we got up at 7 a.m. and had breakfast at 7.30. After breakfast we went back to our rooms and packed our suitcases. At about 8.30 we went to the tram station and went to the Vienna City Hall.
There we went on a guided tour and we saw beautifully decorated rooms. We were also allowed to ride a very old elevator. Did you know that it’s called paternoster lift because people were scared and started to pray when they were riding in the lift.
After the tour we drove back to the hostel and ate lunch. After lunch we visited Time Travel, which was the highlight of the week in Vienna. Before the tour started, we had to wait for a few minutes. Finally, the tour started and we went downstairs. In the underground we had a short introduction. Some minutes later we went to a 4D cinema and watched a short film of Vienna. Later we stayed in a bomb shelter for some minutes. After Time travel we went back to the hostel, put our luggage into the bus and drove home.
The week was amazing but now we are happy to be at home.
A great day in Vienna

Hello today I want to tell you about my favourite day in Vienna.
I am writing this travel blog while we are on our way back home.
Today was a great day. As soon as we had eaten breakfast in our hostel, we went to the City Hall by underground. We got a guided tour of the City Hall and we were allowed to ride in the paternoster. lift. In the afternoon we went to Time Travel Vienna. Before our tour started some of us had drunk a disgusting bubble tea. A
t Time Travel Vienna we went on a virtual journey through the history of Vienna, which was really impressive. We were in an original bomb shelter.
After this trip all kids are happy that we are on our way back home now because the five days in Vienna were really exhausting but also very interesting.
All the kids said that they liked the trip to Vienna.

Today we got up at 7 o’clock. After we had had breakfast we packed our suitcases. We left the hostel and went to Vienna City Hall.
There we went on a guided tour which was really impressive because they had already decorated all rooms for the flower ball.
So the rooms were really colourful. Have you ever been to a flower-ball? When I was riding the paternoster lift I suddenly got scared because it was very noisy. Afterwards we visited the University of Vienna where our teachers told us that they had studied there.
In the afternoon both classes went to Time Travel. In my opinion it is the best sight of Vienna. You can bock a guided tour and go on a virtual journey through the history of Vienna. I really liked Time Travel because it was interesting but also a bit scary.
At 4 p.m. we went home by bus. I think all the kids were very tired because the week was really strenuous.
Tomorrow I am going to sleep in. In the afternoon I am going to play games with my family and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Hello, I am going to tell you something about the best day of the Vienna week!
Friday morning:
Today we went to the Vienna City Hall.
We thought that it was really great, because it was beautifully decorated for the flower ball. After we had visited this famous tourist attraction we went back to our hostel.
Friday afternoon: In the afternoon we went to the Time Travel Vienna. Our guide said that we are going on a virtual tour through the history of Vienna. It was exciting and all students liked it. I especially liked in Time Travel the bomb shelter from World War 2.
Friday evening: In the evening we went back home. It took us 3 hours to get back to Lembach, there my dad picked me up.
I really liked the days in Vienna and I will certainly visit it again some other time.
An unforgettable day in Vienna

Welcome to our travel blog, we’re going to tell you about our best day in Vienna.
Today we had to get up early because it was our last day in Vienna, so we had to pack our luggage. After we had had a delicious breakfast, we went to Vienna City Hall. The waiting room was a bit ordinary because we had to sit on a trash container. The colourful lightning of the halls is amazing and reminded us of Hogwarts. Did you know there’s an old elevator called paternoster lift in the Vienna City Hall? The elevator’s name came from the Latin for “our father” because the people were so scared and started to pray while riding it.
In the afternoon we went to Time Travel Vienna. The highlight of the tour was the 4D film in which we explored Vienna in the 15th century. There, an animated Habsburg told us that their kingdom was very big. After that we went into an original bomb shelter, where we experienced what it was like back in the Second World War. It was an unforgettable experience.
Now we are on our way back home. We are all looking forward to seeing our pets and family again. Have you ever been to Vienna, if yes, what was your favourite sight?
Thanks for reading our blog!
