Settings and characters

The story happened a long time ago.

It happened in the thick and dense forest in India.

The characters are:

Main character: Mowgli – A small boy with black hair. He grows up in the jungle, a mother wolf takes care of him. He is a brave boy, he lives in the jungle with the wolves. He is strong and fights with the big tiger Shere Khan.

Shere Khan: A big and villain tiger, he takes Mowgli from his real parents when he was a baby. He wants his prey back, so he fights the animals to take him.

Baloo: An old big brown bear, he is very patient and knows all the secrets of the jungle. He teaches Mowgli how to speak and the rules and the laws of the jungle.

Bagheera: The black panther a friend of Baloo and Mowgli, he takes care of Mowgli.

Monkeys: They live in groups, they attracted Mowgli and kidnapped him. They put him in a prison in the monkeys’ city.

Kaa: An old python, this snake scared the monkeys and helped Mowgli.

Akela: The chief of wolves, it is a big wolf with thick hair. He lived alone on a big rock. He makes important decisions for the wolves.

The young girl: she is a human, she lives in the villages. Mowgli loves her.

Messua: Mowgli’s real mother, she lives in the village.

The story talks about a man-cub called Mowgli.

A daddy wolf finds him and takes him to mother wolf to be her baby cub and takes care of him.

The Plot of the story:

Shere Khan takes Mowgli from his parents to the jungle, as he was his prey. But because he walks on the fire he couldn’t carry the little baby, he leaves him. A daddy wolf carries him and takes him to mother wolf. They raise him and takes care of him. After he recovers he goes back to the wolves and wants his prey, Mowgli. The animals in the jungle love Mowgli. But Mowgli has to go to the men’s village. 

Opinion

I liked the story because it is full of adventures and exciting events. Mowgli is my favorite character because he is the main character. He is a brave boy, he fights Shere Khan and makes him go away and never comes back. He loves animals, especially his mother’s wolf. He doesn’t want to leave his family (the animals) but in the end, he decides to go to the men’s village because he is a human and has to live with people like him.

The story teaches us how to be a real friend, and be honest to your friends. It also teaches us how to be brave and fight enemies.

I recommend this book because it is amazing and has an interesting ending.
