It is hard to describe my deep love to a paper. In different ways i have been experimented with a paper for a long time. And not only me. People have built a strong relationship with paper. As a generous provider it surrounded our life in many ways.
As an investigated object it has technical characteristics:
strength
softness
transparency
absorbency
visibility of fibres
It is recyclable and sustainable.
My question is: What paper can and can not give? and Can we get rid of it?
By conducting some experiments i realised it.
Here are some examples…
Unexpected surprises
But let’s take a dipper look inside of paper
Does it remind you something?
In a digital and conciseness time we have fount ways to recycle paper, or replace it with an alternatives.
Nowadays, we look for ways to save trees and get rid of paper. So printed contracts, cash, books, wallpapers, napkins, paper toys, newspapers, magazines, letters – are about to disappear.
But still, paper represented and influence our cultural, social and even biological life.
It is enriches our biological system. For example, it pleases our visual and tectile sensors with its texture; it develop our fine motor skill while modelling or folding origami; our hearing enjoys a crunchy sound of unwrapping gifts; it is even stimulates our cardio system while reading an interesting book or hand written love letter. This can not be replaced.
