My story😊

Hi 👋🏼
I am Noam
and I was born in the Land of Israel.

When I was 5 years old
my father flew to the USA,
two months after
l ,my mother and my sister Oria
flew to the USA.

I remember when we got there
it was winter and it was snowing
and my dad bought us scarves, hats, coats and boots all so we wouldn’t get cold.
And when we got to the house
we built a snowman and put a scarf and a carrot on it instead of a nose☃️.

At first we lived with my uncle in Brooklyn, he would live in a 2 room basement and living room and it was not easy for my mom to move from a spacious 4 room apartment to a small place with very few clothes just like starting from scratch
then my parents checked a good garden where I could study in the way of the Torah and not to study in the place of Gentiles.

I also remember that my family who were in Israel very much missed us and so did we.

After half a year we moved to Arizona,
we rented a basement and also a small car,
and I remember it was red🚗.
When we lived in Arizona
my sister Avishag was born,
but she was born in emergency surgery because her heart rate started to drop because of the hole in her heart she had.

I also remember that while we lived in USA
my uncle went out for matchmaking and married his wife (שתחיה)
and my mother was very happy for him because he is her little brother
but she was also sad because she wasn’t at his wedding.

Then we lived in some hotels
and I remember I had 2 friends👧🏼👧🏻 ther
and we would play with dolls

While we lived in one of the hotels there
I remember I had to go up to first grade and I also remember
I lost my first tooth🦷 and I was really happy I got $ 50💵

I also remember
that my father used to pray at the Chabad house and also ask the people there
where to buy kosher food in Arizona.
and at that time my father ran out of visa and he sent a request for renewal,
but they caught him at work,
and the Chabad house helped us and we lived with the rabbi there.

As a little girl I would see the rabbi’s girls learning through the house with a computer and headphones and it looked fun and cool.

The Chabad House helped us until we returned to Israel, which is one of the reasons I love Chabad.
