“We should plant trees because we need them to breathe.”
The importance of nature today is very high but there are many problems caused by man. There are several reasons why plants are indispensable: 1. They do a process called “chlorophyll photosynthesis”, that is, in the presence of carbon dioxide, sunlight and water, the reaction takes place that leads to free oxygen in the atmosphere to breathe 2 trees reduce the risk of floods and fires because their stems collect a lot of water 3. plants, in addition to giving them oxygen, also collect a part of smog and retain carbon dioxide.

However, there are several problems that we are creating despite being aware of what will happen: an average of 30 species disappear per day due to these causes 1. There are deforestations of forests that lead to numerous landslides, floods, climatic variations and fewer forms of life 2 Intensive farming would mean cutting down fields of trees and using fertilizers, which makes the environment less healthy and liveable for humans 3. Another important aspect is that some plants can obtain medicines.
I read a sentence that says “trees give us back the oxygen that pollution takes away” made me think a lot because it is as if man took his own life thanks to the trees we breathe and man always found a way to remove them.
