The air conditioner offers a more efficient cooling system,

is more comfortable because it refreshes large spaces, but 

using air conditioning increases ozone concentrations and

harmful gases in the air.

The fans are certainly less useful because they don’t refresh

but consume much less energy and they haven’t environmental

consequences.

Solution fot this problem

To reduce the use of air conditioners, firts thing that we can do

is use a fan, it isn’t too satisfyng for the summer, but if we

continue like this the problem will get worse and global

warming will increase.

The fans are much cheaper therefore accessible to almost everyone and they have a considerable energy saving.

Other alternative

Some alternatives to the fan are “natural” accessible to all,

close the windows during the hottest hours and open them

early in the morning when it’s cool; place plants on balconies to

absorb part of heat or if you have a garden plant trees to

protect the house from the sun.
