The Life of Global Warming

I chose Global Climate Change, I wanted to research this topic because it is a big deal and it is affecting a lot of our world today. Global Warming is Caused by carbon dioxide and other air pollutants and greenhouse gases group into the atmosphere they absorb sunlight and solar radiation on the earth’s surface.

As a whole humans have caused this by simply burning too much CO2 into the atmosphere cutting down and burning forests, heat-trapping emissions from burning coal, gas and oil in power plants and cars, black carbon pollution and killing farming livestock stresses ecosystems…temperature rise, water shortage higher chances of fire threats, droughts and more storm damage.

 All humans, animals, plants…everyone and everything is being affected drastically or even in the slightest, poor air quality, larger and slower  hurricanes, storms, etc., wildfires burn longer and are much larger, waterborne diseases, diseases transmitted from insects and animals, more heat stress.

 Animal Habitats are at a high risk of destruction not only because if one group of animals go extinct they’re also a food source for other animals and it’s almost like a domino effect. The smallest hair of global warming can 70%+ of our world’s coral reefs, and about 50% of animal and plant species especially locations who rely on natural resources.

If us humans don’t learn how to take care of our planet while having the source to create sustainable power sources then we don’t really deserve this earth. We could lose a lot in a short amount of time because Global Climate Change isn’t improving.

The solution that I chose was using renewable energy and energy efficient sources from appliances to the light bulbs you use to light your home.

Renewable Energy will help conserve our nation’s natural resources. My plan  minimizes the amount of fuel spills as well as reducing the need for imported fuels. More people using renewable energy will help provide reliable power supplies and fuel diversification, which enhance energy security.

The fact that most renewable energy sources come from natural resources like the sun and wind energy, it’s not something you really need to purchase, but needing funding for the things used to store this energy like solar panels and more. As well as being able to get donations from companies and businesses that believe in this change and can support this would help others who can’t afford renewable appliances

Contacting companies like Alliant Energy, they are the ones who use power plants to power neighborhoods and much more can help educate others on how to provide a cleaner environment doing everyday things

It’s important for as many people to be involved because everyone deserves the chance to educate themselves and do what they can to help the place we call home and doing the smaller things like using efficient energy sources like LEDs are a step in the right direction little or small.

 That’s not it, some people have the advantage of being able to afford appliances that run on renewable sources and if everyone contributed even a little bit that small step could turn into a big step.
