The Girl

Once upon a time there was a girl named Lorelei. Her mom’s name was Melissa. Her father’s name was Michael. Lorelei had an older sister named Piper and a younger sister named Amelia. Lorelei and her family lived in North Carolina.

Lorelei, Piper, and their father liked the Dallas Cowboys. Amelia and her mother, Melissa, like the New York Giants.

Melissa works at the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina.

One summer the air conditioner stopped working at Lorelei’s house. The repair crew worked on the air conditioner.

The Boys and Girls Home let them stay at one of the cottages for a night. After three days of hard work, the repair crew had fixed the air conditioner.

Lorelei and her family had a cool summer after that.
