Ankara is a province of Turkey, which is situated partly in the region of Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Central Anatolia. Ankara Province is the home to the capital city of the Turkey, which is also named as Ankara City. The province is full of historical landmarks, Ottoman architecture, Turkish traditions and culture.

Ankara Castle (aTurkish: Ankara Kalesi) is a historic fortifiction in the city of Ankara in Turkey. It was founded in the 8th century BC by the Phrygians and rebuilt in 278 BC by the Galatians. The castle underwent several renovations during the Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman eras.

Anıtkabir (literally, “memorial tomb”) is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leader of the Turkish War of Independence and the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey.

The Kocatepe Mosque (Turkish: Kocatepe Camii) is the largest mosque in Ankara, Turkey. It was built between 1967 and 1987 in the Kocatepe quarter in Kızılay, and its size and prominent situation have made it a landmark that can be seen from almost anywhere in central Ankara.

    ESTERGON TURKISH CULTURAL CENTER

“Estergon” Turkish Culture Center was built by the Keçiören Municipality and opened for public in 2005. It offers a glance at Turkish culture and history via its architectural design which includes motifs from traditional Turkish art, and its ethnographic museum.

The Ethnography Museum of Ankara is dedicated to the cultures of Turkic civilizations. The building was designed by architect Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu and was built between 1925 and 1928.
