The United States of America

I would like to tell you a little about the United States of America.  I chose the United States because I was born there.

I also think that the U.S.A. is a fascinating country.

This is a map of the U.S.A.  This country is made of 50 states that work together as one country.

The capital city of the U.S.A. is Washinton D.C.  Many people confuse Washington D.C. with Washington State.  They are not the same.

Washinton D.C. is a city in the District of Columbia (D.C.) on the West Coast of the U.S.A. and Washington State is a state on the West Coast of the U.S.A.

This is the US flag.  There is one white star for every State in the U.S.A.

English is the official language in the U.S.A.

Many other languages are spoken there like Spanish and Mandarin.

The money (currency) in the US is the US dollar.  The dollar is recognized around the world.
