This is Richards first stop as a water droplet. Water is respired or evaporated from the body. Water is  also excreted through feces and urine. My next stop is soil.

Richard has made yet another stop in his journey, now he is at at soil. Water is pulled by gravity and it filters into the soil. The soil is saturated, so water runs off into a river. Heat energy is added to the water, so the water evaporates and goes to the clouds.

Now I have reached the clouds. Richard remains as a water droplet clinging to a dust particle. He condenses and falls into the ocean. Richard can fall into the ocean because of precipitation (rain). This process is called condensation and it includes a gas called water vapor (evaporation).

Now I have made it to another stage in my journey, ocean. Heat energy is added to the water, so then Richard evaporates and goes to the clouds. Then Richard also condenses and falls into a lake.

Now I have arrived at lake. Water is pulled by gravity and then it filters into the soil. The water evaporates again and goes to the clouds. Then the water condenses and becomes cold and falls as snow onto a glacier.

Ice evaporates and the water goes to the clouds (sublimation). Ice melts and the water filters into the ground, Next is plants.

Now I have arrived at plants. Water is used by the plant and stays in the cells. Since the plant has water, and sunlight, that means that photosynthesis can occur. If photosynthesis can occur, that means that co2 and water can combine to make sugar (glucose). When the glucose combines with oxygen, respiration occurs.  Water leaves the plant through the process of transpiration. And then the whole cycle repeats itself.

Now I have just pulled up to one of my final destinations, river. An animal drinks water from the river.  And all the water that hasn’t been drank, that water flows into the ocean.
