Mike the Water Molecule

Hello, my name’s Mike! I’m currently in the ocean swimming around with all different kinds of creatures.

Wow! That was cool! Out of no where the heat energy in the air evaporated me right into the clouds. It’s so cool up here! All I’ve been doing ever since I got here is just jumping around with all the other water minuscules that are just like me.

Oh no! What is happening? All I can feel is every part of myself condescending. On top of that I’m falling, farther and farther from the clouds. Wait, I know what this means, I’m snow! My heart is racing as I prepare for landing. I did it, I landed! I find myself on a huge glacier as more and more snow flakes land around me.

For the past little while I had been melting away, and now I am flowing with all my other friends into what looks like a river.

Ewe! I hate to even have to say this but I just got slobbered up from this relaxing river by a big old cow.

Oh my goodness. I thought that this could not get any worse, but it has. I just went through the worst experience ever. I just got excreted out of the cow through feces and urine. On top off all of that I’m now just sitting here in this dirty soil. I can’t wait to leave!

Here we go, I am being jerked side to side as I getting sucked up by plant root. Yes! finally something fun, I’m in a beautiful plant!

I leave the plant through the stomata as water vapor. Guess where I get to go now! The clouds! Yes, I’m so excited. I enter the cloud and I immediately remember the amazing time I had here last time.

Unfortunately the fun of the clouds does not last forever. I feel myself condensing once more as I fall. I land in a lake, the lake is very relaxing as I just lay there in silence.

I can feel myself being dragged by gravity as I slowly get filtered into the ground.

I start to slowly get filtered back into the lake. I’m super excited to get out of the dirty ground and back into the relaxing lake.

Heat energy is being added to me while I get evaporated into the clouds. Yippee, I’m back in the clouds!

I’m condescending once more, then I’m falling. I prepare for landing into the ocean. I landed! Now I get to have some more fun with all the amazing creatures in the ocean!

Overall being a water molecule is not that bad. There are some bad parts of being a water molecule like the soil and the animals. But there are so many amazing things about being a water molecule, like the rivers, lakes, and of course the clouds. Thanks for coming with me around the world!
