It was a Monday Afternoon In Ms. Ally’s P.E. Class. All The kids were so excited to learn a new game, especially libby.
Ms. Ally set up two cones one on each free throw line. She then put a ball on top of each cone. She placed 10 balls on the half court line. When Libby saw this she was very nervous and excited because she had never played cone ball.
Ms. Ally divided the class into two teams and placed them on opposite ends of the court. She told them the object of the game was to knock the other teams ball off of their cone by throwing balls from your teams side of the court.
Libby tried and tried to hit the ball off of the cone, but she had a hard time aiming where she was throwing the ball. She asked Ms. Ally to teach her how to aim better. The next few rounds of the game Libby’s aim improved.
Josh, One of Libby’s teammates, broke the rules of the game by running across the court to knock the ball off the cone with his hand so Ms. Ally Made him sit out one round. He was very sad because he was unable to participate. When ms. Ally finally let him back in the game he was very happy because the game was so enjoyable.
Libby asked Josh if he did that because he was unable to hit the cone with the ball. Josh said yes, so Libby told him how to aim the ball at the cone. Josh was very grateful for Libby’s help as a teammate. By the end of the game libby and Josh both hit the cone with a ball.
At the end of the class Ms. Ally asked the teams what their favorite part of the game was. Libby answered by explaining how the game helped her grow a friendship with Josh by Helping him.
Ms. Ally also asked How the game could of improved their overall health. Josh answered by saying it helped increase their heart rate when running after the balls.
Finally, After school Libby went home to tell her mom how much she loved cone ball.
