Happy Birthday

Lili is so excited! Next week she has a 6^th birthday!!

Today Lili goes with her parents to the shop to buy decorations, balloons, and lots of snacks. There are so many things in the shop. “I do not know what to choose” Lili said.

Finally, she and her parents bought almost half of the shop!

The next day, Lili went with her mom to buy a beautiful dress for the birthday party.

Lili cannot wait anymore. She wants to celebrate her birthday with all her friends and family.

Lili draws beautiful invitations with many colors. She cannot wait to hand out her invitations to her friends.

The birthday week has arrived. Mom baked such an amazing cake, and everything was ready for the birthday party.

Suddenly the Corona virus spread all over the world and each family had to stay in her own house. Lili’s friends cannot come and celebrate with her.

Lili is so sad. She cries and cries.

Mom and dad do not know what to do. Lili waited so much for her birthday party.

Then mom and dad had an idea. “Let’s do the party on zoom! in this way Lili’s friends can celebrate with her too”.

The big day has arrived. Mom and dad decorated the house with balloons and colorful decorations.

But still, Lili was sad…

Lili sits on the chair sadly. Mom and dad sing to her and put the cake in front of her.

But still, Lili is sad.

Suddenly she hears voices she knows. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LILI…”.

Mom and dad put the computer in front of Lili, and she sees all her friends singing to her and shouting “S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E”.

She is so excited, and she starts to laugh with joy. Lili does not feel alone anymore.

She will remember this birthday forever.
