Treecrest by Chemdat

Prologue

Far away from all other lands lay a kingdom called Treecrest. It’s not an ordinary land, it’s a magical one! Only a person with great wisdom will find the opening to this place.

The day has come and Professor Van Green found the opening.  He has a notebook that he writes all the facts about this mystical land.

From that day he takes trips to a world waiting to be discovered!

Magical Creatures:

Dragons: Dragons are fierce animals. There are both fire- breathing dragons and also ice-breathing dragons.

They live in caves all over the country, but some of them live in the Frozen desert.

Note to self: Never go there! I almost got frozen by an ice- breathing dragon.

Fairies: Fairies are little creatures that have tiny wings that help them to fly. The fairies also help Fairy Sunshine with her work. Each fairy has a name according to her job. For example: Waterdrop- waters the flowers.

Fairy Sunshine: Fairy Sunshine is a fairy that is in charge of all the meadows in the magic world. She has other fairies that help her as well as sprites.

Sprites: Sprites are creatures that look like dwarves but are much more mischievous. They are in charge of the weather in the land. Sometimes they get carried away with their jobs, but they are mostly good helpers.

People:

Witch Victoria: A nasty witch that lives with her pet crow called Doom and her pet frog with no name.

Advice: Never go to Witch Victoria’s moat! Last time I was there I almost fell into the moat! (see page 0 to know why it is bad to fall into the moat!)

Village people: Regular people live in villages that are scattered in the country. They all know about magic, but it’s very rare to see a villager using magic.

History: There was once a wizard named Oscar that studied magic. He lived in Canada until he was banned from the country. He decided that he will make up a world that only he will decide what people will live in, and what creatures live in.

He decided to call it Treecrest because of all the trees that are in it. That’s how Treecrest was created!

Witch Victoria’s house: A spooky hut that is shaped like a skull. It has a moat surrounding it. The moat is full of crocodiles that are always hungry! You should always be careful not to fall into it!

The rainbow bridge: The rainbow bridge is called like that because of its glorious rainbow that is shining above the bridge. The rainbow has all of the colors you can think of: Red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, light blue, blue, purple, and pink!

The crystal clear brook: This brook is full of magical things! The brook itself can talk, but don’t get too close to it! The brook can keep on talking and talking non- stop! But you should try to enjoy the beautiful clear water. 

The dark forest:  The dark forest has a reason for its name. It’s called like that because of its dark territory. You should never go there in the night! But if you need to cross it, always go with another person!
