The fashionable reality we live in 2020 seems obvious to all of us. But I tell you to pause for a moment and think that there are people who color their faces every day, make hairstyles for their hair and raise themselves with shoes.
So let’s see where it comes from.
The first evidence of using footwear is from 3500 BC, where Egyptian clergy priests who wore high shoes at certain ceremonies and in those years butchers would also wear high heels to keep their feet from the blood of animals.
In the Middle Ages, high-class men and women began wearing leather heels and a wooden platform heel. The shoes were used as protection against the mud, this shoe was called “Patten”. Then, in the 15th century, women began to go with a higher version designed to prevent the dress from getting dirty in the mud and reached a height of 20 cm. Walk with heels.
The first use of recorded history in makeup is in ancient Egypt and it was used to make the sculptures of the Egyptian gods. Then women and men also began to make themselves there. In ancient Greece and Rome, makeup was more common in order to nourish and maintain the interior
In the 19th century, Queen Victoria declared a ban on the use of makeup because it is used by “prostitutes” and actors and is disrespectful. Nazi Germany was also prohibited from using makeup
It is unknown when and who started the history of hairstyles. But you can see that hairstyles characterize different cultures, species, classes, ages, holidays and are influenced by every single smallest element in the history and culture of all nations.
When you meet people with a strange fashion that doesn’t make sense to you. Think that once you weren’t allowed to wear makeup or high heels, and today it all makes sense to us.
