One sunny morning,

Dad came to wake me up,

With a big smile on his face.

“Danny Danny wake up!!

I’ve got a surprise for you!”

I opened my eyes and saw

A beautiful colorful kite.

I’ve quickly got out of bed.

“Come on dad let’s go fly the kite!”

We went out to a big field,

We were there for hours,

It was so much fun!

Then the wind began to blow really hard,

And tore my kite.

I was so sad.

Later that day,

My mom came home,

I ran to her and told her about my kite.

My mom came up with a great idea,

and suggested that we will make our own kite.

And so we did.

We made the most beautiful colorful kite

you can imagine.
