Tommy and His Blue Blanket

Little Tommy loves his blue blanket. It is warm and cozy, and Tommy has it since he was born.

Every night Tommy’s mother takes him to bed, reads him a story, gives him a big kiss and says: “Good night, mommy loves you so so much”. Than Tommy hugs his blue blanket and falls asleep.

Tommy is such a lovely boy
His life is full of smiles and joy.

He loves to jump, he loves to draw
He loves so much to play with dough.

He loves the beach, he loves the sun
He loves to hide and jump and run.

He loves to dance, he loves to sing
He loves to go outside and swing.

Today is a rainy day and it is too cold to play outside. Tommy loves to build a tent with his father. Tommy and his father take the blue blanket, throw it above a big brown table and there you go you have a blue tent. Tommy plays hide and seek with his mom and dad. Tommy and his dad hide in his blue tent and giggle when his mother finds them. When it’s time to go to sleep Tommy’s mother takes him to bed, reads him a story, gives him a big kiss and says: “Good night, mommy loves you so so much”. Than tommy hugs his blue blanket and falls asleep.

Today is a sunny day. Tommy loves to go outside and play in the sun. Tommy likes to run in the grass, to ride his bike, to play in the sand and to water his grandma`s garden. Sometimes he wants to take his blue blanket with him but his mother says that the blankets is very tired and needs to rest in his bed. Tommy puts his blue blanket in his bed, covers it and says: “Good night blanket, Tommy loves you so so much” and then he go outside.

Now it is dinner time. Tommy favorite food is broccoli. Such a funny little kid. After dinner, all Tommy wants is to go to his bed and hug his blue blanket, but his mother says, NO NO NO, it is shower time. Now after Tommy played, got dirty, ate and showered it’s time to go to bed.  Tommy’s mother takes him to bed, reads him a story, gives him a big kiss and says: “Good night, mommy loves you so so much”. Than Tommy hugs his blue blanket and falls asleep.

One morning, Tommy’s mother said: “Tommy, you are not a baby anymore, you are a big boy now and tonight you will say goodbye to the blue blanket, give it a big hug and kiss and put it to sleep in your drawer. If you do so, you will get a surprise that only big children get. At night Tommy went to his bed, took his blue blanket and said: “Good night blanket, Tommy loves you so so much, but tonight I am a big boy and I don’t need you by my side anymore”. He put the blue blanket in his drawer and smiled to his proud mommy. Tommy’s mother took him to his bed, read him a story, gave him a big kiss and said: “Good night, mommy loves you so so much and I am so proud of you, tomorrow you will get a huge surprise”. Than tommy closed his eyes and fell asleep.

big boy Tommy also plays the drums.
