Introduction,
A few years ago my sister told me a story with a moral.
The story is about a horse struggling with difficulty.
I want to share this with you.
2
One day an Indian horse fell into a deep pit.
3
The animal cried for hours as the Indian thought of what to do.
4
Finally he decided that the horse was quite old and that the pit should be filled anyway, there was no point in saving the poor horse.
5
He invited the whole tribe to help him fill the cistern with sand and they all started pouring dirt into the cistern.
6
At first, the horse understood what was going on and cried bitterly, but soon afterwards, to everyone’s surprise, he fell silent. A few minutes later, the old Indian pouring dirt into the pit, on the horse’s back, noticed something incredible.
7
The horse would shake the dirt and take a step up. Everyone was amazed to see the horse walk across the pit and go galloping away.
8
Moral
All you need to do to get out of the pit is to shake the dirt off your back and take one step up.
We can get out of the deepest pits by never stopping or surrendering.
All we have to do is shake off, and take one step up.
