1. The first Super Bowl was held in 1967 after the national football league(NFL) and the American football league(AFL) decided to merge and create the World Championship Game.

2. The New England Patriots and the Pittsburg Steelers have won the most Super Bowl championships with 6 wins each.

3. Super Bowl day is second after Thanksgiving, as the day with the most food consumption in the US.

4. 29 of the 30 most watched events in USA history are Super Bowls!the most viewed was Super Bowl XLIX which was held in 2015 with 114,442,000 viewers. The game was beetween the New England Patriots and the Seatle Seahawks, and ended with a victory by the Patriots in the final score of 28-24. A last minute save by the Patriots secured the victory.

9. Only in the 90’s the Super Bowl’s halftime show, famous singers and pop stars started preforming during the show.
