Animals in Finland
The wild life of Finland is varied and diverse. There are more
than 80 mammal species. One of the animals which are hard to spot is the Ermine. The Ermine is a winter animal. In Finland, there are 11 so-called “mythical” animals, like then nakki and the Vedenemo. There are a few rare animals in Finland: The Lynx, the Whooper swan, and the Big Gray Owl. The official national animal of Finland is the brown bear.
In Finland, some animals have a bad reputation like the lynx and the Wolverine because they are harmful to humans.

The territory which is now Finland was – until 1809 – part of the Swedish Kingdom. Under Swedish law, Jews of that period were allowed to settle only in three major cities for example Helsinki and Turku. Today, around 1800 Jews are living in Finland and they speak English, Suomi and Svenska.
The young Jewish study in the urban synagogue, and after they grow up, some go to university. The adults work in different jobs, like physicians (doctors), lawyers, and engineers. Between the two World Wars, the Jewish population increased to about 2,000.

Finnish, but they also know Swedish. Finland sports are
skiing, skating, and ice hockey.
Finland has one of thebest education in the world. They learn only 7 hours a day. In high school, the students discover their future profession.
Food
The alcohol in Finland is very good, for example Kilju Lakka.
Finland has really good traditional food for example Karelian pies.
There are a lot types of breads for example Rye-Sour bread Ruisleip.The seasonal fruit of Finland is Blueberry and strawberry.
The Most used vegetables in Finland are Potatoes and pea.
The Traditional dish is the Blueberry Pie it is called Finnish berry.
The favorite candy/ treat in Finland is Iconic Finnish Candies.
A big part of Finland is located above the Arctic Circle and because of it, you can see daylight at midnight.
In the north point of Finland, the sun does not set for 73 days in the summer, and does not shine for 51 days in the winter.
