My school Dimitar Matevski

“Dimitar Matevski” was established in 1982.
The school has excellent facilities: 28 classrooms, 9

modern and cozy school base;
highly qualified teachers using innovative teaching methods;
use of electronic textbooks;
long traditions in dance and music;
calm learning environment;
high standard of training and education;
work on European projects;

Dimitar Matevski was born in 1835 in Chirpan. He studied in Stara Zagora and taught in Merichleri. In this village he founded a community center, but the Phanariots managed to discredit him before the Turkish authorities and by 1871 Matevski was forced to move to Plovdiv, where he was appointed a teacher in the newly restored school of St. Trinity, to which he also opened a neighborhood community center.

The cabinet for subjects, of which 3 computer; library; video room; choreographic hall; swimming pool; gym; sports shooting range; outdoor sports grounds, two of which with artificial turf, a functioning student chair.

for students of I and II grade -35 minutes;
– for students from III – IV grade – 40 minutes;
– for students from V-VII grade – 40 minutes.

School patron celebration – on May 11 – High School “Dimitar Matevski” celebrated its patron saint’s day. In honor of its patron, the celebration began with acquaintance of those present – students, parents and guests – with the life and work of Dimitar Matevski.
