“Hello Charlie Sticks!” Said Linda Lines.
“How are you?”
“Oh, hello Linda!”
Said Charlie, “it’s a sunny day.”
“Are you okay?”
Asked Linda. Charlie did not look like someone thinking of sunny days.
“I’m just bored” answered Charlie.
“So think about what you can do” said Linda, “how about walking your dog?”
“My dog likes to take walks” said charlie with a straight face, “but I already did that..”
“I know!” Said Linda, “you can learn ballet dancing! I love to dance.”
“Ballet dancing is for girls!” Said Charlie with an angry voice.
“How about learning how to cook?” Asked Linda.
“My mother does all the cooking in our house.” Said Charlie.
“She never lets anyone come in the kitchen when she is busy cooking.”
“You can learn to play an instrument.” Said Linda, “we can start a band together!”
“I like listening to music,” smiled Charlie, “but you don’t know how to sing!” He laughed.
Linda thought for a minute. Then she said
“What about taking a marshal-arts class?”
“Wow” said Charlie, “that is a great idea!”
“Good!” Yelled Linda.
“But my father doesn’t think so.” Said Charlie.
“So just join any kind of sport class.” Suggested Linda,
“you can join steeple-chasing, relay racing, swimming.”
“I don’t think I’m old enough for that.” Said Charlie.
Linda was already getting tired from thinking of things Charlie can do.
“I know Charlie” she smiled, “I think we need to marry.”
Charlie looked at Linda and said, “I don’t think I am old enough to do that either!”
“Bye Linda!” he said. He turned around and started running home as fast as he could.
The End.
