Sean was born in Texas, USA on May 12, 1993

Sean immigrated with his family to Israel in 2008, when he was fifteen and her parents returned to the United States to back her business.

On February 19, 2012, Sean will enlist in the IDF as a lone soldier. He fulfilled his dream and served as a fighter in the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade.

Sergeant Sean Nissim Carmeli fell in battle during Operation Ethiopia on July 22, 2014, when he encountered terrorists in Shujaia.

Shawn went into battle despite a sprained ankle despite being told he shouldn’t.

Sean loved Maccabi Haifa so much

And at his funeral there were loads of people and football fans

At the Tel Aviv University, a Shawn Scholarship was established for individual soldiers. His loved ones said that after his release, Sean planned to begin his undergraduate studies at the university.
