Damon , Stefan and Elena are the main characters in the book . They are vampires and in kind of a love triangle , in the book . Elena needs to chose between Stafan and Damon who are brothers . Damon wants Elena to feed ( drink blood ) and he doesn’t care about humans most of the time . Stefan is a little bit innocent and he is a good lovely guy .

Damon and Stefan are both vampires and brothers . Following a wrong decision Stefan made a long time ago , Damon is angry with him . They reconcil and then fight again and again during the book .  When they are in danger , they help each other in order to protect the people they care about .

Stefan is the good guy in the story , he tries not to drink human’s blood and to help everyone . Stefan is very friendly and everybody loves him . I think that he is the best character in the book because he is not a regular vampire . he has forgiveness and he is always there for the people he loves .

These are almost all the important characters , vampires , humans and a witch . They are a group and they protect the humans from the other power . They always stay together and help each other . They stand by their side and protect each other from the other power , who threats everyone .

5. shimmer – מנצנץ                                                                                        ” The wolf , too ? she said , and then jumped as a shadow seemed to shimmer and became Damon .
