Ten years before the plot begins, Dark Wizard Lord Voldemort kill Harry’s parents, but for some reason loses his powers as he tries to kill Harry

As the Wizarding World celebrates Voldemort’s downfall, Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and Robus Hagrid bring Orphan Harry to his Muggle cousin Vernon and Petunia Dursley. Over the next ten years, Harry receives from his uncles Vernon and Petunia (along with their only son Dudley) a degrading treatment of neglect and abuse

Shortly before his 11th birthday, Harry receives mysterious letters destroyed by his uncle that prevents him from reading Koram. One day, dozens of letters are sent to Harry’s house, and in order to avoid them, Uncle Vernon decides to take his family to a cabin located on a secluded island at sea.

Shortly after arriving at the cabin, a huge man breaks into introducing himself as Robus Hagrid, and tells Harry what the Dursleys have been hiding from him over the years: Harry is a magician and is due to start his Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry shortly. He even reveals to him that his parents were murdered by Voldemort, in contrast to his uncle’s version, who told him that his parents had died in a car accident.

Hagrid accompanies Harry to Diagon Alley – a London street hidden from magic by magic, and assists him in acquiring the necessary things to study at Hogwarts. Harry also learns about the large assets his parents bequeathed to him, deposited at the Wizarding Gringots Bank

As a birthday present, Hagrid buys Harry for a breath that Harry calls Hedwig. About a month later, Harry leaves the Dursley family home, and at King’s Cross station, he boardes the Hogwarts Express train.

At the station, he meets the Weasley family, who shows him how to get onto the nine-and-a-quarter quay, from which the train leaves. During the trip,Harry befriends Ron Weasley, who tells him that someone tried to break into the safe at the Gringots. He also first meets Hermione Granger, a smart student of Muggle origin, and to Ron, a slightly annoying one.Another student named Draco Malfoy, accompanied by his friends Crab and Goyle, tries to advise Harry to stay away from Ron, but Harry rejects it because of his dislike of Malfoy’s arrogance and prejudice over anyone who is not pure blood

Before the start of this year’s opening ceremony in Hogwarts, the new students are invited to the various homes through the sorting cap. Most students undergo a short screening process; Draco Malfoy was senthome to Slytherin even before the bonnet was fully rested on his head.With Harry, the sorting process goes on at length, and finally the bonnet sends him to the Gryffindor house with his new friend Ron and Hermione.

Hence the book goes on Harry’s journey within the first year of school and finding the smart stone
