The next day ,I(refers to Tony here ) visited Billy in hospital.”What happened in the classroom yesterday?”

I asked him .Billy told me what happened :

” Sit at your desk,and finish your work”.

“Yes,Sir”

“Mr Brown sat at his table and smoked his pipe .After half an hour he put out the pipe and he went to sleep .

“Mr Wilson came into the classroom . He had his oil lamp in his hand. He was very angry .

“Mr Wilson threw the oil lamp into the room and closed the door . The fire spread very fast . I ran to the window to get air ”

“I don’t know ,”Billy answered .

” I know something!” I said . “Mr Brown isn’t real . He’s a ghost !

I showed Billy the newspaper article about the fire in 1935. Billy read about Mr brown and the other Billy Reed . Billy’s face was white .

Billy Reed was my grandmother’s brother . Thta’s  why I’m called Billy .

Now I understand . Mr Brown ‘s ghost thinks your Uncle Billy started  the fire in . That’s why Mr Brown doesn’t like you .
