The Mysterious Birthday Trip

It was a Friday night, when an alert popped on Josh’s phone.

It said “Miranda’s birthday is tomorrow “ Josh’s face turned pale. He forgot Miranda’s birthday!

What should I get her? He thought to himself.  Josh was a rich man, his dad won a lot of money in the lottery, so he didn’t have to work ever again!

Josh thought to himself: Miranda and I both love traveling, so what if I buy us plane tickets?

Later that night Josh opened his expensive computer and searched for plane tickets. He saw 2 tickets left for the next day to fly to Egypt to see the pyramids, so he bought them.

The next day he called Miranda and surprised her with the tickets, she was so excited!

A couple hours later they arrived to Egypt and Josh realised that he didn’t reserve a hotel for them because it was all last minute. Josh remembered that while he was searching for plane tickets he saw a place that had luxury tents, so he decided to go there.

The next day they arrived at the pyramids in Egypt, when Josh thought of going there he thought it will be a relaxing and cool trip, but little did he know…

Once they entered the pyramid, they saw a huge question mark written on the wall, and next to it was a mysterious key.   Josh picked the key up and saw a weird sign, he asked Miranda if she knows what does it mean and she told him that it’s an address and that she knows where it is. That was kind of weird for Josh because he knew that Miranda had never been to Egypt before.

Disregarding his feelings, he decided to follow Miranda to that address.  When they arrived there, it was already night and all the shops were closed. The buildings were old and all the signs were in Arabic. When their taxi stopped in front of a big wooden door Josh was scared but even more Josh felt suspicious because Miranda seemed weirdly familiar with the place.
