The Time I Went to Spain

In 2016 I went to Spain for 10 days!

I went to Spain with Spanish Club. We traveled from Franklin NY to the Albany airport on a school bus! At the time I had never been away from my mom for that long. I was nervous to fly all the way across the ocean! But… I was excited.

When we arrived in Albany we checked our bags, printed our tickets and boarded our flight to Atlanta, Georgia.

After we arrived in Georgia we got out our passports and went through customs. We then got on a flight to Madrid.

Once we arrived in Madrid we went to our first Hotel! The Tryp de Charmartin. We were REALLY tired. We flew all night… but our tour guide Myra and our Spanish teacher Mrs. Palmer said we had to stay awake to avoid jet lag.
