This picture on the left was taken by my sister, Tamar, in our Yard at the summer. I saw it accidentally in the computer and I thought it will be good for the work.

First of all, the picture was taken in the yard- where all the play took place at. We can see that the main subjects in this photo are the tree and the light.

The tree–  reminds Larry’s tree, the tree that was broken. in this picture it isn’t- and I think it shows Mother’s point of view of the life of Larry. when the tree was broken, she was sure Larry is alive, because the tree was planted for his death. but this picture describes the end of the play, when we, the readers, alredy know that Larry is dead.

The light– seems to be like a sort of an angel’s/holy light.

Together, The light that passes through the leaves creates a sort of vibes that I think, describes Mother’s point of view about Larry.

Jail- the punishment that Keller escaped from,by put all the blame on Steve, his friend.

When we understand what Keller did, we change our opinion about him, and think that he should be punished.

I think that the way that Joe punished himself at the end of the story, by killing himself, is to escape from punishment, again, and leave his family, this time.

The picture on the left is the main subject and value in the play- the family.

No matter what family is above all. Keller’s most important thing was the family. But he took it too far when he blamed other person on his acts, and actually destroyed his family.

For the hole play the family acts the main role. at the end Keller does a horrible thing- and kill himself. it seems like he couldn’t think about how the family will react, so he gives up.

The play really shows us how important and precious is family, and how we can’t lie or hide things from them, how we should act as family, and how we should love each other.
