What is a volcano?
A volcano is a mountain that opens downward to a pool of molten rock below the surface of the earth. When pressure builds up, eruptions occur. Gases and rock shoot up through the opening and spill over or fill the air with lava fragments. Eruptions can cause lateral blasts, lava flows, hot ash flows, mudslides, avalanches, falling ash and floods. Volcano eruptions have been known to knock down entire forests. An erupting volcano can trigger tsunamis, flash floods, earthquakes, mudflows and rockfalls.
My story:
I was in Hawaii near the Kilway volcano.
I woke up to the sound of screams. Unfortunately, a volcano was about to erupt, I managed to escape while traveling far from island. I saw the volcano erupting in all directions.
after a few days, I returned to my cabin and it was covered with such black material .
Continue the story :
the whole cabin was burnt and ruined then workers arrived and evacuated
And repaired everything . after 2 months I went
back to my cabin which is complete now.
I was scared and nervous but after all im happy because my family is healthy and safe .
What you should or shouldn’t do :
You should:
You should stay around people you know .
You should stay near water .
Run as fast as you can far away from the lava.
You should stay in high places.
You shouldn’t :
You shouldn’t be in panic.
You shouldn’t stay in a building.
You shouldn’t get close to the volcano .
you should’t be around flammble stuff .
