Volcano definition:volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object, such as Earth, that allows hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface.

Earth’s volcanoes occur because its crust is broken into 17 major, rigid tectonic plates that float on a hotter, softer layer in its mantle.

Therefore, on Earth, volcanoes are generally found where tectonic plates are diverging or converging, and most are found underwater.

On Earth

About 1,560 volcanoes erupted in the Holocene are scattered on Earth, many of which are in the confluence of tectonic plates – on the terrestrial and oceanic crust – and some are in the center of the plates. Massive Tamu is the largest volcano, and lies on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean east of Japan.

Mauna Loa

is one of five volcanoes that form the island of hawaii in the U.S. state of hawaii in the pacific ocean.

The largest subaerial volcano in bot mass and volume,Mauna Loa has historically on Earth

The volcano eruption in the Philippines in January 2020

The Tall Volcano erupted in an instant and became a popular and green tourist area for a play taken from a post-apocalyptic world and evacuated tens of thousands of homes.

Mount Taal, one of the world’s smallest active volcanoes erupted for the first time on Sunday (12.1.20). Alongside boiling lava, the mountain emitted large amounts of dangerous volcanic dust, which covered extensive areas around. The mountain still has volcanic activity, and since Sunday 466 earthquakes have been felt in the area.

Researchers have warned that the mountain could throw stones and magma over the entire surrounding area, plus there is a fear of tsunami from the lake where the mountain is located. “PHIVOLCS” asked to evacuate anyone in the dangerous area. It is estimated that there are about 500,000 people. Residents of the more remote area, about 17 km from the mountain, may also be required to evacuate later.
