- Read the debate motions presented at the bottom of this page.
These motions are examples of arguments concerning Animal rights. - You will be divided into 3 groups:
- Proposition team
- Opposition team
- Judges
- Students that are assigned to the proposition or the opposition teams will write their appropriate arguments which support their side.
Your arguments should be filled with examples and demonstrations. - You have 1 week for forum debating. Then the forum discussion will be closed and the judges will vote and explain their voting.
This forum debate will raise the conflict between protecting animal rights and preferring human interests.
Proposition: It is cruel and inhumane to experiment on animals. There are alternative methods available to researchers that can replace animal testing.
Opposition: Animal testing has enabled the development of many life-saving treatments for both humans and animals over the years.
