In Bulgaria, every village has its own special day, which is celebrated once a year.
Our village celebrates its special day, Enyovden, on June 24th.
This is a big traditional festival for all Bulgarians. Early in the morning people pick on different herbs. They believe that herbs picked on this day have special healing powers.

Herbs are plants with savoury and aromatic properties that are used for flavouring food, medicinal purposes or for fragrances.
