Inference : I think Palouse falls, located in Whitman Washington was formed by moving water carving out pieces of the rock then made a lower cut river on top of the fall but the where water stayed all the water above that was high got left dry . I think it was water eriosion . According to Washington state parks 1. its close to moving water / river 2. when i looked up Palouse falls and river is said that Palouse falls took up the old peek and left the peek high and dry According to Washington Trails Association 3. it looks like the walls where the water fall is look very jagged and rough .( if you look at the picture you see this )

This is what i think it looked like to start before any erosion took place . I think it looked like this because according to my inference there was a small river to start .

This is what it looked like when pieces of the mountain started to break of to make the river bigger . As i inferred it made the river bigger and deeper .

This is what i think it looked like when the fall started to form . I think it looked like this because some pieces broke of to start so then it started to break away pieces of the edge . (3rd picture )

This is what i think it looks like now . The fall there and on the top mostly high and dry except for the fall . That’s why I believe Palouse falls was created by water erosion .

Weathering and erosion are two geologic processes that change earth surface over time. Weathering changes earths surface by breaking down bits of rock and erosion changes earths surface by moving bits of rock of a big rock or mountin / hill or landscape . Evidence from my research that supports my claim by saying water ice acid salts plants animals and change of tep. because weathering and how a lot of different caves around the world are carved out by moving water . This evidence support my claim that weathering and erosion change earths surface by using natural sources to cause a differnce in earths surface . Example in weathering it uses rain storms to break off pieces of rock and when erosion happens it uses moving water to break off pecies of rock in caves and elsewhere .’’This evedence supports my claim because it shows that when erosion and weathering accure both use matter and energy to help make it happens by using the force to break off or destroy the landscape or anything and uses energy to move the water when erosion takes place.
