Laval is a french town of 54,020 inhabitants and is the capital of the departiment of Mayenne, located in the Loire. It has an area of 34,22 km and a density of 1578.61 inhabitants square kilometer. The inhabitants are called lavallois/lavalloises .

Old stone bridge
In Laval there is beutiful medieval bridge built in the 13th century in place of an ancient ford that had been submergerd when the waters were gathered for use by mills.
Three elegant stone archers still in good condition(altough restorations were also necessary due to war damage).
The diocese of Laval is a seat the Catholic church in France suffragenea of the archdiocese of Renner. In 2016 it had 282783 inhabitants. Is governed byb Bishop Thierry Scerrer
Cathedrale of sainte trinitè The church built between 1861 and 1867 on the project of the architect Thèodore Ballu, has a very decorated facede, which is ispired by the Italian Renaissonce and the Basilicata of San Giovanni in Laterano in Rome
