The around-the-clock activities that our parents attend with the students are as follows;

1. Swimming races                       5.table Tennis
2. Basketball                                6.Tug of War
3. Volleyball                                 7.Gunnysack Race
4. Football                                    8.Kite Fest

The activities, with the participation of our students’ and disabled guests’ parents, last between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 06:00 p.m. One of the aims of these activities is to celebrate May 19th, the commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports day. Another purpose which makes this national celebration more meaningful is to draw attention to the problem of the people with disabilities.

In the activities which last during the day, our parents attend to various activities with students. Number of the participants are as follows;

Number of participant parents: 850 people

Number of the participant students: 350 people

Number of participant teachers: 250 people

Number of participant associations: 5 associations

Number of participant disabled sportsmen: 75 people

Number of members of the total participant associations: 35 people

Furthermore, our other purpose is to help disabled people realise that they are not alone. The associations’ names that we cooperate for this purpose are as follows;

Bursa Nilüfer Sports Club of Visually Handicapped

Bursa Autistic Children Education Center

Bursa Disabled Spastic Rehabilitation Foundation

Mina Living with Autism association

Bursa Handicapped Association

During the day, sports club of visually handicapped has shown us how disabled persons do sport and how they love with the goal ball activity.

In addition, sight disabled students and our students have shown that they can do activities together during the day by playing chess.

Each disabled student who has raced in swimming and the other branches and attended to the activities is awarded with the medals by our school. All students and their parents were happy to witness these activities.

Also, the associations have communicated with our parents at their booth, thus, it has been both created awareness and they have had a chance to share their problems.

In this social responsibility Project, we have made a team from our high school students.  About 40 students individually took care of one disabled friend. They were together throughout the day, which created mutual self awareness.
