I kind of like this lesson. There is so much further learning to do. We use glue and tape all the time. I have the feeling that there are modern thick tapes that incoporate glue. That would kind of spoil everything. And in general –

It’s like asking which is rounder – a ball or a circle.

It’s also worthwhile reading about solvent toxicity and the mad hatters of the 18th century.
