Choking under pressure is an issue of focus, according to the lesson. It may be a case of distraction by irrelevant thoughts. Or alternatively because of overanalyzing the task at hand. Tuning in to the precise aspects of an otherwise routine activity causes us to fail at it. People who are afraid of being judged may be more susceptible to choking under pressure. Solutions: Practice under stressful conditions. Have a pre-performance routine helps some as well. Having an external focus on the ultimate goal helps as well. “Practice under pressure, with focus, and with that glorious endgoal in sight makes perfect.”
