Einav Zamir Dembin is credited for writing this interesting lesson about whether Troy really existed. But does she really exist? My curiosity was piqued because Einav Zamir is an Israeli-sounding name and Dembin, is, well interesting too. I learned that she may be a Ph.D. student on ancient Greek artifacts at the University of Texas. If I find out, I’ll let you know!
I think the question is not whether try existed or not, but why does it matter? We can ask the same question about Noah’s ark, whether Moses existed, where Mount Sinai is (if it is), and many other things from the ancient past (I don’t want to get people too upset here). Aren’t the legends just as good as legends? Maybe even better than the real story? I don’t have the answer to these questions? Do you?
