We are all potential victims of medical clickbait. According to the authors, the best way is to look at the research itself. However, scientists know that research is often flawed and irreproducible. Unfortunately a five minute lesson is not going to turn the rest of us into scientists and statisticians. A better way is just to ignore any medical advice of a commercial nature that you read on the internet. And that goes for other clickbait too. Until each of us has a bot that looks out for our best interest.
