Outdoor education can be simply defined as experiential learning in, for, or about the outdoors. The term ‘outdoor education’, however, is used broadly to refer to a range of organized activities that take place in a variety of ways in predominantly outdoor environments. Common definitions of outdoor education are difficult to achieve because interpretations vary according to culture, philosophy, and local conditions

SPEED DATE – Secondary School of Bobbio – ITALY
The group is divided into two teams one standing in front of the other. Each student is given a piece of paper with a key word on it. You give them 1 minute time during which the students standing in the left row have to talk as much as they can about what they know on that topic to the student they have in front of them. after 1 minute it’s the other row turn to add something about that same key word. When time finishes the student on the right row must talk about his key word and the other student must listen and after 1 minute he will add additional information on this second topic. After these 4 minutes the students switch papers and the first student of the left row goes to the last position of his row and all the others in the row swift onwards so that new couples are made and the game starts again and goes on until the first couple is formed again. This allows students either to revise a specific topic (any) or to brainstorm a new topic……
