Abdullah Efendi, the father of Nasreddin Hodja, who was born in Hortu village of Sivrihisar in Eskişehir in 1209, was the imam of my village. After his father, he worked as an imam in the village and emigrated to the Aksehir district of Konya in 1236 and fell in love with the teachings of Seyyid Mahmud Hayrani.
